Art of Élan: The Red SeriesSeptember 30, Tuesday Inspired by SDMA’s renowned permanent collection, this popular music series returns with the first program of the 2008–2009 season, “Awakenings.” The program showcases classical music written by American composers, including Edgar Meyer, Aaron Copland, Arthur Foote, and Richard Danielpour. Nine musicians take the stage to perform these impressive compositions with cello, bass, violin, flute, clarinet, and harp. |
