Screen on the Green

In celebration of the Museum’s summer exhibition Epic Tales from Ancient India, this year’s Screen on the Green lineup is a selection of critically acclaimed films that present compelling, multifaceted stories featuring Indian artists, filmmakers, and actors.

The Music Room: A masterpiece by Satyajit Ray, one of India’s most beloved filmmakers, The Music Room tells the story of an aging aristocrat who throws elaborate musical concerts and dance performances in his crumbling mansion.
