April 29–May 1
Friday, April 29
10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
The Museum is in full bloom for this signature fundraiser and annual exhibition with more than 70 floral arrangements interpreting great works of art on view throughout the Museum. See the John M. and Sally B. Thornton Rotunda transform into an all-encompassing floral installation by 2022 Rotunda Designer Britton Neubacher, enjoy two extraordinary new exhibitions—TERRA: Fernando Casasempere and Monet to Matisse: Impressionist Masterpieces from the Bemberg Foundation—and see a special Art Alive installation of Op Art. In addition, hands-on art-making and interactive activities designed for children and families to do together are offered April 30–May 1 in the Garden of Activities.
We are committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of our visitors and our entire community. In the interest of health, safety, and providing a positive experience for all, Art Alive will again be a timed ticketed event. Art Alive 2022 will use timed tickets for admission to reduce lines and to limit capacity for a safe and pleasant visitor experience. As COVID-19 guidelines are subject to change, visit SDMArt.org/COVID-19-Updates the week of the event for current requirements.
