Rufino Tamayo (1899-1991) was a Mexican painter known for his paintings of figurative abstraction with surreal influences. Join Museum educator Rogelio Casas as he talks about works by the artist currently on display in the Art of the 20th Century gallery. Tamayo’s work will also be on display in our upcoming show Modern Masters from Latin America: The Pérez Simón Collection.
