Join Museum educators and master Iranian calligrapher Yadolla Kaboli Khansari for a special Books & Art Workshop that explores traditional Persian calligraphy.
Led by master Iranian calligrapher Yadollah Kaboli Khansari, this workshop will invite you to explore writing with reed pens while you try your hand at traditional Persian calligraphy. Learn a written art form and have an exclusive look at Master Kaboli’s pieces of art on view in the library.
Yadollah Kaboli Khansari is a calligrapher from Khansar, Iran, and a member of the Trustees of the Society of Iranian Calligraphers. He is a master of “broken” nastaliq calligraphy and holds a first-class art certificate for the artistic recognition and evaluation of the Iranian Association of Calligraphers and was the first to receive a master’s certificate from the Shekasteh (Broken) Nastaliq Calligraphy Association of Iran in 2007.
