SDMA James S. Copley Auditorium
SDMA in partnership with Malashock Dance presents a new contemporary dance performance inspired by Arshile Gorky’s Child’s Companions, on loan to The San Diego Museum of Art from Art Bridges and on view through July 2024 in the Art of the 20th Century. See the new dance choreographed by Christopher K. Morgan, plus two additional dance pieces. Six professional dancers and one musician breathe life into the dance pieces, shedding new light on works on view at The San Diego Museum of Art.
The performance features interactive conversation and a rare opportunity to experience two choreographic interpretations of the same work of art.
