The San Diego Museum of Art periodically has unpaid intern positions and sponsored internships from several local universities.

Interns works closely with all members of the Museum or specific departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of working at an art museum. Candidates are students who are college seniors, recent college graduates, or graduate-level students interested in pursuing a career in museum curatorial work, gaining experience, and learning new skills working in an art museum setting.

Please visit the Museum’s Employment page to view current opportunities, or contact your present university for more information about internships with the Museum.
